Actually, it's 117 taming to use it. So a 120 taming scroll musta been consumed.
This is unless they changed it in the last 48 hours.
They set it to 117 so that someone would still have needed to have eaten the 120, but didn't in fact have to be at it.

You may wanna test this out, it's not like all the other new tameables.

there was only 2 pre patch death beetles, and they were fixed when they patched it, unfortuneatly , this beetle just has some low stats, it is after patch tho.

A beetle, but a very low stat one.
Again, I urge the seller to TRY to transfer this to someone with 115 taming. unless it was changed over the last 48 hours, not do-able. These tameables are *NOT* like the other ones that are 115/115.

However, I can attest that these listen the same at 115 that they do at 120 *LORE*.

It's definitely pre patch. Look at the Armor rating - then look at the patch notes.

- Gave Runebeetles armor, slightly lowered their min/max dmg.

you can still transfer to someone with 115 taming i tried it on dread pirate jay about an hour ago plus the patch was added yesterday no beetle on the server shows AC rating right now

I have 115 taming but only GM lore, is the 115 lore a requirement?

Poon, you are confusing yesterday's patch with the patch that went in 1 day after expansion release.

upon release, beetles could be xferred/operated with gm taming/lore (Just couldn't initially tame them).
They changed it a day later, but the 2 beetles that were tamed prior retain their ability to be controlled as such.

Edit:
Not going to disagree with with Nikatina said about transferring to Jay yesterday. Because like I said, unless something was changed in the last 48 hrs, they required 117 taming, I had a PM from Carl explaining this.

So *maybe* they *can* be xferred to 115 taming now.
Would be good for someone with 115 taming/lore to ask Zekey to attempt to transfer to them, with a pic of their skill thing up displaying that it is in fact possible with these numbers.
Would save a lot of time/speculation.

all i know is they patched 2 days after xpansion, and there was only 2 beetles then, i have 1 savo has the other.

so this is after the initial patch, unless magically they buffed them again after that patch.
