Do you think you would see a significant dps increase from the difference in a higher str/dex beetle?

Yes. Especially if both are lacking. I have a 509 str 180 dex 537 int beetle with 122 poison. Hps 898. I would rather have high str/dex over a few hps neday

Do you happen to have a formula you use ?

I've never noticed the beetle to have much melee dps to make str and dex that significant. I always just thought of it as a killer of high hp mobs with it's lethal poison.

No formula really its a tanky pet i look for high dex/str/poison and anything over 850 hps is fine with me.
