Dear Shane...

Without things left to buy (unless some individuals choose to sell, which is usually not the case) my gold becomes useless, thus one of the main goals that drives me to spend time here and enjoy the game for what it is...it's simply diminishing quickly.

This is why I came here asking of you to improve the game in another area that has always shined in and obviously that's the PvP. I see you too are trying yourself sometimes with good and sometimes with bad ideas to bring life to PvP as well...Non the less you have my gratitude for trying....

Two heads think better than one, four heads think better than two....and hopefully many more heads will come here and add their feedback/suggestion how we can have PvP in this server that's both rewarding for the victors as well as the least exploitable as possible.

Right now this is how PvP is...1 player sees another, attempts to PK, that player calls help....then the other player decides to retreat. If successful of avoiding the gank....he gets away, thus no PvP has happened of whatsoever. The bigger the gank also means the more players the player will have to outrun. Forget the option of thinking about 2v1 or even 3v1. Most are decent players these days, which I'm sure many are with these simplistic 3rd party programs, voice chat and 2 decades of having the time to learn the game...and then even if the player defeated another player, they usually receive nothing more than regs and many reds don't even pay for their heads and I'll explain further why.

Factions for instance were improved in some areas. It seems like some rules that exist favoring gankers by a lot which should not be the case. I don't see the logic for instance why by just double clicking on a factioned character he can't recall away. He does not receive any dmg, yet somehow he can't recall. Then you have mount fatigue, which in a brief period the player becomes immobile. We already have all these stun mages on every 10 sec for 3 sec and paralyzing spears for 4 sec....I mean I would truly want to know why you are catering to gank mechanics?

When it comes to the bounty system, I would like to see individuals having the opportunity to be bounty hunters. This would excite many players, but instead of perma statting which clearly saw it backfired....there are other ways you can remedy the issues. For instance, any red attacked by a bounty hunter can only help himself and any bounty attacking a murderer the same rule should be applied for him. No help for both of them. Let those 2 individuals "duke it out".

Even give some benefits to both of them, like the red can have an option for next 15 min to auto buy his head (anywhere in the world) from the bounty h or receive account shame for 24h. Regular players can shame up to 8h. The red could also receive immunity from being attacked from that specific bounty hunter for a certain period (1-2h) if the bounty hunter failed to kill him in around 10-15 min. This would also prevent same individuals of "working together" to stay immune from other PvP. For the bounty hunter you can add also the full reward of 35k for auto buy head to go to him rather than the server to take that extra portion. Again, you have many options here how you want to reward and penalize both parties.

Another issue that also doesn't make sense is how you made players have to stay online for 24 hours to lose a murder count, something clearly a murderer does not care about, yet you have not applied this to the actual thing that the murderer cares for, the 48 hour stat loss (for max murders) that goes away even if they are not online. This allows reds to amass 20 characters and simply rotate, and not even bother paying for their heads, which again makes PvP far less rewarding and more exploitative. This would also allow these reds to have more space to use alternative characters for something else. This is exactly why the account shaming was needed.

I could understand why the perma stats go away while chr is offline. After all, he has lost his skill/stats, can't use it for much else to play the game, but because there is room for exploiting, you have to do something. The shaming system could work here... I dunno, something could and should be done here.

As you can see with this system in place many issues will at least be improved with the state of PvP on this server. There will be still a lot of "ganking" going on, that I'm sure some individuals thrive on around here. Again, these are just some basic suggestions and simple changes that can be added that would increase PvP as well as make it more rewarding, while in the same time reduce ganking and exploiting.

Finally, mages I believe here are treated way too nicely. You could disable invisibility/walls (when engaged in pvp or at least for criminals/murderers) or make them truly feel the cost of risking less by just bringing nothing but regs. They can already self buff and I'm not talking about str/dex/int and they don't need to stick to a target. Their heals are far quicker and their ranged healing is truly what makes them shine in groups. Plus they benefit from aids far more than dexxers do from magery heals and on top they always have wrestling up, while dexxers have to stop swinging + moving and also lose defense when casting a heal.

Anyways, whatever you do at least please do something. I like to put some goals ahead for me to continue enjoying the product you've delivered to us. Others can also bring their own feedback here and contribute. There will be always individuals who will dispute certain things, argue against certain things and usually are those who've adopted to the exploits that persisted for a while....and they will say things like a lot of players would quit if you do this...bla bla bla....maeby, but how many players have quit for things as they are now and how many others have chosen to not even participate in first place? Truth is we will never know until you take action and test things....Only then truly you'll know if they were the right or wrong decisions for the good of the server, long term.

Shit dude you can't even alter spell damage away from what it was 10 years ago by one single point without people running away with teary eyes from the shard. People left the server over a rumor that there might be a shaming system.

IMO I wouldn't mind if a little of the quantity left and all we were left with were the quality players, but that doesn't really help pay the bills. So best just to tread lightly on your PvMer and stay away from PvP entirely except on PvP templates and with a group for the time being.

Was tired yesterday when writing and adding all this feedback. I did some update this morning that would further improve my suggestions.

@wreckognize , but thats the thing....we want PvP to be active and encouraging around here, people to participate and enjoy in it....not staying away until their friends or certain individuals are online. Many don't even have anyone to gank with or don't enjoy doing it, which I completely understand why.
