I'd hardly call that the deffinition of a sociopath.
All a GM would need to do is ban the mobs. Normally I'd agree it's petty but there aren't a lot of terathian spawn and it is kind of a pain.

I still don't think a house should be dropped simply because one person doesn't like that it's there.

Yet you took the time to post that, clearly showing you are interested. Makes total sense. Whatever, people with half a brain know that a house shouldn't be dropped just because it's in the way of some mobs.

All I ask is check the actual logged in play time of that account. If it's once a week to refresh the house then it's obviously not someone who plays here on a regular basis and just taking up space nor selling it on the forums. There have been plenty of houses dropped in this manner already and people act all surprised and butt hurt if someone brings it up again.

Right, because someone who got the gold together, bought the plot and placed it should be told what they can and can't do with it. If the owner isn't the one refreshing it, that's one thing, but if the owner is the one refreshing it then who cares if it's there?

Mate, why do you even bother? You should be aware by now that constructive criticism is frowned up here from its player-base. I agree though, if you can not be bothered to play for over two years without adding something to the server apart from refreshes, your house should be dropped *Military personnel are obviously an exception*.

You know exactly why I do bother. It's a trait I have may it be a blessing or curse. I'm just lookin' out for both sides staff and player. Staff being annoyed with pages and players being annoyed seeing a whole spawn trapped in someones castle they don't use. Military is the only exception. Otherwise why are people so defensive about a castle with an unknown owner who has not been seen nor added anything to their large property what so ever? Why do I ask questions on the interwebs?

You try and help and you are voicing an irrelevant concern, you keep your mouth shut and you are considered ignorant or a coward. How on earth can anything be so complicated? Don't play here for years, lose your housing, why? Because someone who is playing can make do with the space and potentially create something more appealing than what is currently standing.
One year away could be considered a long time, two years is just taking the piss..

There's also a keep that gets spawn stuck in it east of there. Just sayin...

I've removed trapped spawn in both of those areas.

There's gotta be a way to take care of this issue without having to do this all the time tho that's my take on it... Before people were getting in trouble for building trap houses. Castles auto trap anything that spawns so it's not their fault at all.

Gee, I hope you guys have all been "adding something to the server", otherwise a guy will camp outside your house and relentlessly spam the admins to have it seized and have all your stuff redistributed (for the greater good of course). Bloody commies.

I think we should just delete any houses that we don't like. That seems fair to me. Oh, and while we're at it, anyone who thinks they should be staff but isn't should be made staff.
