Aside from the Chaos Shrine… the rules for criminals resurrecting at Ankhs placed around the world should mirror that of a blue wandering healer! @eppy @Swayze

Actually no. Any criminal can enter a town.

My point is, your suggestion is only to prevent those that have committed a criminal act from using non-chaos shrine ankhs as opposed to anyone that is "grey" or "red"? ie criminal status instead of notoriety?

My post isn’t to suggest that we restrict reds or perma greys from rezing at these Shrines / Ankhs… just that the players that are under the 2 minute criminal act flag should have to wait out that time before they can use the Ankh. Pretty much the same way you have to wait at a non red wandering healer.

Why would we want to fundamentally change ankhs? Any change suggestions coming from $ guild I can't help but get a bad feeling. Though I do think you are a fine person, Lex.

It's out of the frustration of the rezing thieves / greifers in those areas. You kill them, they insta rez without having to wait the normal 2 mins like they would at a healer. No other hidden agenda.

The ankhs were GM placed out of convenience but I don't think they were meant to be used this way.

Wherever there is a GM placed Ankh (champs, dungeons, no-cut) you’re overriding the criminal flag timers by allowing criminals to rez without serving their 2 minute time out!

Aside from the chaos shrine, you shouldn’t be allowed to rez if you’re under the criminal flag timer… useless you’re rezed by another player that is!

If that doesn't make sense... just remove all the ankhs (except for the shrines) and replace them with invulnerable wandering healers. That will do the job.

On one hand I don't think shrines should discriminate. But maybe they should, just like a wandering healer. Perhaps certain virtues related to said shrine might allow/disallow it? Or a shrine checks your karma first or something.

Shrines, shrines, shrines, shrines, shrines. One of those words if you say multiple times it changes. Shrines.

@Shane, can you have a look at this... it is a major problem. Greys should not be able to insta rez unless it's with the help of another player or at the Chaos shrine. GM placed Ankhs are overriding the criminal flag timers.
