I know I had a thread somewhere about it but here's another one...
When tinkering a new tool with Iron you get extra charges for it being exceptional.
There also should be an additional bonus charges per resource used. Example.
TOOLS Crafted per type
Metal Resources

• Iron - Exceptional+ 50 - 100 Charges
• Dull Copper - Exceptional+ 60 - 150 Charges
• Shadow - Exceptional+ 70 - 200Charges
• Copper - Exceptional+ 80 - 250 Charges
• Bronze - Exceptional+ 90 - 300 Charges
• Gold - Exceptional+ 100 - 350 Charges
• Agapite - Exceptional+ 110 - 400 Charges
• Verite - Exceptional+ 120 - 450 Charges
• Valorite - Exceptional+ 130 - 500 Charges

Logs/Boards

• Normal Wood- Exceptional+ 50 - 100 Charges
• Oak Wood - Exceptional+ 60 - 150 Charges
• Ash Wood- Exceptional+ 70 - 200Charges
• Yew Wood- Exceptional+ 80 - 250 Charges
• Heartwood- Exceptional+ 100 - 350 Charges
• Bloodwood- Exceptional+ 110 - 400 Charges
• Frostwood- Exceptional+ 130 - 500 Charges
