Anytime recently that i have issues with the server like random ping spike and DC i just flushdns then I can connect just fine.

Can just go to CMD, type ipconfig /flushdns

Will probably fix you right up.

Unrelated, 20 or 30 players IPs are stuck in a ddos filter, they just need to PM it to me or Shane and get it removed :)

If you try and ping the server using the cmnd prompt and it fails to receive any packets, then your IP is blocked and Shane needs to have it removed.

If you ping the server, and it gets through, congrats, you have a different problem.

Shane posted about it, theirs an issue at the hosting company that will effect a percentage of players who connect via a specific route.

"Shane - Today at 8:42 AM "We have been noticing intermittent packet loss over one of our upstreams in Chicago (Telia) tonight, on the inbound from some endpoints (from New York/Ashburn, at minimum). We have contacted Telia to ask them about this. Clients whose ISP reaches us via Telia may notice skipping or other performance problems with services in Chicago; game servers in the Battlefield series may also see some player drops, because EA's back-end service (Blaze) has a provider that is currently reaching us via Telia."
