But now I snoop and find NONE OF THE NPC actually have loot to steal?

But no... there appears to be no other way to make gold except kill monsters. And yes when no one else is online @ 0430 am ... and I dont see a player for an hour.... I tend to think that no gold is spawning.

Which means this isnt UO; its more like "only way to make gold is kill monsters so pks have something to kill."

Which doesnt make this UO.. it makes it something unfriendly to anyone but pks.

this guy just had a whinge and also seems to think 48 hour statloss is trammy, yet he is crying about no gold on NPC escorts - LOL.

i really hope the devs don't take into account anything players like this say.

how about when you get killed by the player you stole from, your character gets statloss for 5 hours? lol

I think you must be confused. I started less than a day ago.

So accusing me of much = invalid.

Furthermore, I would not call a 48 hour stat-loss anything - I havent been here long enough to see. So dont put words in my mouth *****.

Jenny has some p good pvp ideas tbh, he's just also an asshole heh

Farming monsters is pretty much the only way to get fast startup money. Provo dexxer is best bang for time and investment. The real question is what do you usually do in UO? Gold and skills are easy here so that pursuit runs out fairly early for most. Pvp, craft, RP, vendor/merchant, griefing, bank sitting?

Been so long I forgot! In the earliest days I did bank theiving. Had to have a looter follow me for that though. I even did a stint as dungeon theif back when you could steal and recall while marked. HEHE.

I progressed through so many different things. I had a smith miner, that made good stuff/armors.

I remember bard/mage had some bad ass pve, and so did tamer/mage. Which really for gold, that was the 'best.' But these also took time/money to build up to.

For pvp factions I went poisoner/mage... was never anything 'great' per se, but I got some good kills in:)

Yeah read the forums for a day or three months and you will learn a lot.

Tons of good guides and how to's, people have already asked your question and cried your cry many times.

Spend some time and you will be amazed. Bank thieves can and do make huge scores, provoker bards can make good money and are cheap to make.

There's also the companions who help new players as well as lots of people who will help you out/guilds to join.

well to be honest... IF I WANTED to steal anything at all from npc, it wouldnt be found on this server. Everything Ive snooped here has empty bags.

That in itself is unfreaking believable; it is supposed to be UO right? Day later and aint one npc has shit in his bags. Cant be a coincidence. Luckily Ive found other ways, and there are at least some non-turds on this server... so maybe it has hope.
