There are only 5 bear masks and deer masks on the server. They are extremely rare (most of them came from the reindeers and Grinch). There has probably only been 1 of each that have come off a random mob.

Ethereals that hue are outside the norm of what we put out for mounts, this making them abnormal to the shard. This makes them stand out more and thus creates an eyesore. Meta dragons come in all sorts of fancy hues and thus people are used to these kinds of hues on them.

Tokens can be used at any time.

This is a perfect way to handle tokens. The rewards are fine, the prices were set by player speculation. Some people lost their ass.

There a super easy way to fix the "crying": Release the prizes first, instead of a day after.

Greed and speculation from such words as" best drop" are a good way to get people crazy hyped. Everyone thought they were getting something wicked, and should have known better. Releasing the prizes first, so people can judge time/items aquireable, is the perfect way to stop problems before they start.

It's not the people crying, it's the way these reward systems are set up. (Hype + gamble) + letdown = problems^2

This essentially tripled the price on the Christmas egg as well. I thought they were supposed to drop in price? I understand uniques go for more naturally, but setting this egg @ 3m area would have been perfect.

Oh well. Maybe next year!

It's an accurate statement thou, these tokens give the best rewards. Peoples entitlement are getting ********. These tokens were earned by standing around ebolting with 60 other people. It took little effort and no skill. If they lost their ass on selling/buying that's on them. Take your free loot and move along. Next time people should be more careful with a gamble.

If everyone got top tier reward's they would be worthless junk you want it go earn it. staff try to work out how many rare items will be given out so they can control the amount on the server and therefore keep some value to said items.

other MMO's give pointless pixel crack items to cry babys to keep them donating/subbing this is UO and u get what u earn and can fight to keep.

im just glad i dont want a hideous green ethy lol
