Is there a limit to the number of characters you can create? I am trying to create a fourth charecter and the screen just gets stuck at creating character. I've been trying for two days.

Yes, the limit is 3 characters per account - and you can have three accounts.

You can only have 3 characters per account.

There is a 1 million gold item sold by one of the special vendors near West Britain Bank that can give an additional character slot on an account; I believe the max limit is 7 characters per account.

You can have 3 accounts with 3 characters in the meantime. :)

Is it 7 characters per account? I have 5 on each of my 3 accounts, but it says I reached my limit when I added the 5th slot. Can I still add two more?

It's 3 unless...

- you buy extra slots (up to 7?) from the gold sink vendor, Or
- your account was around when staff gave everyone an extra slot for an event handout
