Changing vendors clothes

So I cannot undress my vendor. When I remove a piece of clothing it doesn't make that swishing noise you get when you move something. I try to put it in my pack anyway and it disappears. Not on the floor, not on the vendor, or in my pack. If I log off and back on it is back on the vendor.

I was able to get the shoes off and put on sandals that are now stuck on the vendor. My freaking dono mika sandals. LOL. Wish I knew at the time that the vendor was holding glue.

Anybody else having this happen?

What client version are you running? at this point the only advice i can offer is, make sure you're standing next to the vendor

This happens to me from time to time, cant really explain it. I just kept trying to remove the left on items ea day until they finally was undressed.

You may have had an item bugged in hand. Happens to me from time to time and it has been happening more lately it seems (let me tell ya...I rearranged about 1k items in my house in the past few days and had it happen about 50 times)...what happens is when you go to move an item it sounds like you're dropping it in your pack but it is still floating somewhere in no-mans land and is considered still in your hand. Try moving all of your gumps...containers, paperdolls...everything. See if an item you had recently moved is "hovering" somewhere on your screen.

Server crash would have set you straight, but either way it's good to know how to fix that problem for future reference :)

Still the same thing. there is no noise when I remove something. and it is noplace that I can find. The same thing happens when I rearrange my house too. I log out and back in and it's fixed. everything is back and working fine.

on the vendors the clothes return. no big deal. but I cannot remove them or put anything on them. when I remove something there is no noise like you normally get when moving something and the garment is gone. just gone. I can log out standing there and back in and the clothes are back. the ones I can't get rid of. the clothes that came with the vendor. I have vendors all over the place. I tried changing their clothes too and I can't do those anymore either. the clothes come off with no sound and they are no place that I can find. log out and back on and the clothes are back.
