Changes to Provocation?

I'm failing all over the place where I used to not fail but a few times. I failed on a liche lord 4 times in a row. Was there a nerf?

I'm just guessing, but could the release of the new woods have something to do with this?
Plain wood instruments may not have the effectiveness that they used to have.

Have been seeing the same thing. 105 skill, always full, and using silver instrument. Failed yesterday for the first time in forever. The 2nd time almost cost me my life.

I think new woods is a bit of a stretch.

Maybe Provo has finally been nerfed? Which should have been done long, long ago TBH...

Why, what was OP about it? It's not worth a fuck without supporting skills (Mage or dex), can't take down the really hard mobs, can't do much in RDAs, and can't compete with tamers.

Short cool down, incredibly high success rate, and long duration relative to other barding skills. Which all suck ten times more without supporting skills because they aren't at all responsible for damage to spawn.

Don't get me wrong, I have enjoyed being 120 Provo for well over a year now....but it is definitely OP.

I think the success rate of Provo at gm is way to high. The way OSI handled Provo after AOS was great, you should have to continue to Provo every 15 seconds or the mobs lose interest in each other. My main farmer is a Provo tamer and I still support a change.

Success rate at GM is way high??? The success rate at 90 was enough for me to stop training it.

But it shouldn't be nerfed to the point where it is on par with peacemaking. I will try some provo tonight and see how different it is. Peacemaking needed a bump up, and provo needed a bump down. Hopefully they are both reasonable now.

I think meeting in the middle with both skills is the right thing to do.

I do not expect anything to change though.

Meh, we could argue that all day (which has been done to death)

For the time, effort, and expense...taming deserves to be the ultimate choice for farming.

Provo takes one day and costs about 0.

I ran provo for about 4 hours yesterday morning it only failed handful of times. I think just like everything else you have the chance to consistently fail due to the dice is not rolling your way.
