Castle Courtyards

Is it possible to place anything in the courtyard? Will I need a basement addon to be able to do so? If I add the basement, will I lose my ability to recall in the courtyard?

theres a section in the northwest corner that can have items locked down inside, no cellar is needed,

No the castle doesn't have a basement. He's referring to the cellar deed which is available on the gold sink vendor for 3m. Like Wreck said, you can lock stuff down in the NW corner of the courtyard, but that's it

Its a gold sink add-on that can be bought for any house. People usually on put them on max storage 18x18s, castles, or keeps.
