Hello fellow pirates of the high seas!
I got to thinking. A good ship battle is hard to find these days. I've spent many hours myself sailing around looking for a good old boat fight. This led me to an idea.
I was thinking about organizing a player ran event, battle of the high seas! The details of such event would still need to be hammered out. If there is enough interested party's I will create the event in the proper section.
For now, the basic idea would be an all out free for all. Galleons (even other boats if they choose to join) would all meet at a certain area of the high seas selected before battle day. Ideally there would be a ton of participates. At a specifically set time the battle would begin. If they aren't on your boat your objective would be to sink them. This would be a free for all event so no two boats would be allowed to team. However, you could bring friends on your boat, equip them with grappling hooks and have them board/kill everyone on the other ship!
Before I spend time trying to hash out the details of the above idea I would like to see if there would be enough interested people.
