I want something that can be secured in a home, accessible to everyone, but you can not pick it or cast unlock.

That seems a little contradictory. You can lock down and secure a chest but set the access level to 'Everyone' but then random people will be able to take things from it, is that your intention?

If you are trying to control access to containers for specific friends you could make the boxes friend only and then give each one a key to the boxes they are assigned. Yes they could still be picked if one of them wants to be an asshole but I think it would work if you just want to make sure someone doesn't accidently take something they shouldn't from a friend's box.
