Bowercraft Question

Should you have Lumber Jacking and Carpentry with Bowercraft or will Bowercraft work well as a stand alone skill on another character?

It works stand alone. I have bowcrafting and carpentry on my main mule and use a separate lumber dexxer for harvesting wood.

I'm trying to figure out the best templates for crafting. Does mining and smithing need to be on the same character? Also, what skill is tinkering coupled with...Thx for the input!

You dont need the resource gathering skills(mine/lj) to use the crafting skills you can either put them on a alt or buy resources. Tinkering mostly uses ingots same as blacksmith.

As tynder says i have lj on a diff character for farming wood but mining is on my crafter

I have my crafter character with all the major crafting skills ... and a seprate Resource gatherer with LJ, and mining on another character.

Thank you all...I thought you needed mining and smithing on the same character. This clears it up!
