Bow Colors (what they mean?)

I have seen people selling exceptional bows of various colors on vendors at prices much higher than the normal wood exceptional bows. I know that you have a chance of crafting more powerful bows with +dmg/+tactics modifiers from the rare woods, but is there also an innate damage bonus imbued by crafting with rare wood? Or are people charging more just because of the color of the bow?

Yes they are charging more for the rarity/color of the wood used.

None that I know of.

So the rarity of wood does in fact increase the rarity of magic properties though right?

I believe the rarity of the wood increases the potency of the magically properties that can be imbued. Like bloodwood can have the Force dmg modifier while oak can only have Ruin.
