Boats, Fisherman and some more questions

So, first thing first, i just bought a boat, a tokuno for 20k, but i heard from a friend that they are going to wipe them, is that true ?
then, i'm currently making a fisherman, i'm going like this
100 fishing
100 fencing
100 anatomy
100 tactics
100 healing
100 resspell
and i'm not sure of the last skill yet, maybe some magery for utility.
It is mostly done except for resspell and the last skill, is this template gonna be viable ? or are the mobs in the sea gonna rip my body apart ?

Also some random questions, feel free to answer with just a yes or a no.
1) wrestling + anatomy = random stun proc ?
2) wrestling + arms-lore = random disarm proc ?
3) chest i find in the sea need lockpicking ?
4) without remove-trap, do i get killed by dungeon chests ?
5) can i steal from every mob in the game ? and if yes, can i steal from them powerscrolls too ?

Sorry for all this questions, it's been literally a decade since my last login.

This is what the devs told us. So yeah, you can expect it being deleted at some point.

With this template, (deep) sea serpents and water elementals will be no problem for you. Krakens will get you down to low health quickly in close combat, but you can back off and heal and go back into the fight easily. Deep water elementals however are tough. One will always spawn when you fish up an MiB chest and can rip you apart. Resist will absorb some of the spell damage, but I think magery (with meditation) is more useful. With magery you can summon a daemon and let him tank the damage (whilst keeping the daemon healed). You can bash away at the deep water elemental at the same time. A slayer weapon (water dissapation/elemental ban) will be a great help.

Also some random questions, feel free to answer with just a yes or a no.

You are right about the skills you need for the abilities, but you need to set an in-game hotkey to use both abilities. There is a certain succes chance after pressing the hotkey though.

You only need lockpicking for ancient MiB chests.

Nope, you can cast telekinesis on trapped chests from a safe distance to set off the trap.
5) can i steal from every mob in the game ? and if yes, can i steal from them powerscrolls too ?
I think you can steal from every mob. Powerscrolls get distributed among the players who did (enough) damage to a champoin after it has been killed. The powersrolls don't exist before it's dead and thus aren't stealable from the champion.

Thank you very much Yoar, and one more question do i need cartography on my fisherman ? or i can make it on a worker for example ?

Cart is for Tmaps not MIB fishing
This.

If you want to do Tmaps you need to decode the map and dig up the treasure on the same character. So that character need cartography. I just dumped cartography on a mule character and defeat the spawn on my alt.

Yoar is the man with the answers :) one thing I would add - you should include hiding skill in your template. Reason being that you can fish up the MiB chests while hidden. This way, the deep sea water elemental wont maul you to death the second you pull the chest up (he spawns literally right on top of you in the boat).

Also, not sure if its because the way I have razor configured or what, but the trapped chest seems to instantly explode when pulled from the sea :( only way I've found to avoid this is to put enough crap in your bags so that you can't hold the chest when it comes up, forcing it to spawn on the deck of the boat instead (and hence not explode).

Go into Counters, and down at the bottom left there're options to deselect "Auto Open New Containers". Turn that off.

New fisherman here too (havent got a boat yet still waiting on answers in another thread on what to buy). So the mobs spawn on your boat here not in the water? I went with GM anat/arch/fish/heal/mage/resist/tact and 100/75/50 stats. Planned to have a daemon on deck with me and shoot arrows over the side at whatever I fish up. Not gonna work like that?

It'll work like that. The monsters spawn on the deck from fishing up the MiB; the serpents that have your net, map or SOS will be in the water still.

Wait so for a fisherman build you dont need hiding? Won't the mobs attack you when your afkish fishing and they pop out?

Yeah but you gotta' kill 'em to get the loot off 'em anyway. If you just AFK fish you won't get anything besides fish and skill gains.

Let me rephrase my question. Will the monsters that you fish up onto the boat attack or do you need to releasee them from the net first? I've read in another post about them disappearing after a certain time frame. (30 minutes?) Back in the day I had hiding on my fisher so by the time I come back to the computer I'd have a whole screen full of sea serpents surrounding me lol.

if yer concerned about the sea serpents, buy a snake slayer bow and you'll finish em in a few shots. For the water elementals that you'll eventually pull up (on to your boat) when you fish up Sos's get a water elemental bow 2500gp just south of brit bridge on vendor Sophia. unless you have provo, you'll want to have that daemon handy when u do this.

Hmmm it seems like tmapping creates much more profit than fishing. Am I missing something here when I run mibs? It just takes so long to sail the boat and fish up a chest with little to no loot. Average is around 4-6k ,regs/weps/armor etc. But at the same time 2 expert/clever maps can be completed by the time I finish my fishing run(double profit). The mobs that pop out are fairly easy including the kraken, even with two chars on one boat. Freaked me out the first time I saw a giant red squid though lol. They aren't nearly as hard as running a devious map. Maybe 110 fishing isnt enough?
