Blacksmith weapon types?

So dipping my toes into blacksmithing and was wondering what are the key weapons for each weapon skill?

I mean I know katanas are favored in swordsmanship

Bows are favored in archery (I know it's not part of blacksmithing) but...

What are favorable weapons for the other weapons skills?

Ah, but short spears have paralyze! useful in group fights or to get away quickly solo
