Blacked out areas inside of my game window *pic*

In the corners of my play window I have blacked out areas(see pic). Any idea how to fix this, or what my issues may be?

You are basically exceeding the boundaries of the play area. The client only loads a set amount of the game around your player at a time. Because of the isometric view of the game it doesnt match the window when you stretch it out that big and exposes the unloaded black areas.

Sallos is it's own client and will load as much of the map as you can fit in your monitor. However, you dont see any other players or mobs until it gets within the same area as what you see in your pic.

As long as I am not being shortsighted due to my computer, or game settings, I'm OK with the blacked out areas. I just don't want to be disadvantaged, because of a checked or unchecked box in the settings.

is there anyway to increase the size of gems?

There is a site that has some finished art mods. One is bigger jewels. There are instructions for how to integrate them into your client.
