Berserker Talisman clarification

Phase shift is possibly the most underrated relic on the zerker. If you learn how to play with it it is insanely powerful. Combine with tread and ds and its sick. I dont think anything should be changed. Just adapt the play style or dont put the relic on.

That being said, the only good thing about zerker for archery is double strike and poison. I would not recommend any zerker archers when a close combat dexer is way more effective.
I think a really easy way to fix the downside of the relic is to have it return you back to the tile you started at when it goes off.

If your hidden, you have a chance to stop teleporting hidden, plus with refresh pots and tread you wreck havok. You do have the kill the enemy to hide again though. Which I see the reason numerous teleports make that hard. But the other aspect is dont attack until your next to your target if your in a mob.

You know my dexer Young Star, Slick Willey. I love the phase shift. Im only lvl 5 but I wouldnt change it for anything.

Pretty sure that there are no fully leveled berserkers that use two-handers except for eppy using both a one-hander and two-hander on the test shard. Must be nice when your preferred weapon is a one-hander.

See i adapted and decided if i want to enjoy the full benefits of the zerker I would switch to one handers. If you wanna do two handers than dont use a phase shift ....:/

To be honest, 2 handers minus the war hammer are useless, too slow and low damage when a kat hits every second for 60-100 with a slayer.

I don't get it. There is no downside to using a two hander while phasing. You get crazy damage and you don't miss and swing speed is irrelevant.

Every phase jump is an extra 10 stamina lost, this relic gets worse every level. It's pretty annoying to have to unequip to chug for this as a two-hander when one-handers already do more damage over time compared to two-handers and they get to chug without losing DPS. Phase shift has essentially no stamina cost for one-handers only for two-handers.

Can't do Stat mods without people freaking out when it procs in pvp. Because I guarantee it will happen.
Here's a thought, make sure it doesn't? Tamers QS is still able to proc on a mob and attack a person right?

Sure a dexxer could change targets faster, minus 600+ health, fire breath etc. Surely there's a way to fix any and all relic/talis working at all in pvp.

Whirlwind could be a good idea, but I think it should give you the skill permanently(as long as tali is on) that you can activate at will for a mana or stam cost. Otherwise I could see it procing at shitty times.

Also fix nox relic for range. Stop def tali from working in pvp.

you should switch weapons 2h for ps/ds 1h for rest of time

Phase 1h vs. Phase 2h damage is actually very similar.
You add a double strike with the heavy hitter weapon and 2h gets an edge.
However without double strike the less damage of the 1h is made up in the extra swing you would get from switching from your 2h back to a 1h and chugging.

So unfortunately phase as part of fighting a mob doesn't really add dps as you have to move away switch weapons and hide for maximum damage.

There are two good situations for phase.
1. When you can kill the mob in one shot with the added damage.
2. Arch/ fafnir when you are forced to back away.

Overall I feel the real problem with phase comes with the fact that level 10 actually is less desirable in many scenarios than level 1.
I would say that the multiple jumps cause more problems than any gain. I would like to see the damage from multiple jumps added to the single target you are phasing to. This would eliminate phasing to broken tiles and reduce the severe dex loss of 4 jumps. I think some tweaking on the over damage increase may need to be looked at but it really would effect scores much if all your damage is on one target or 4. It would make leveling the relic actually make it more useful.

I don't mind the idea of 2h not using stam when you phase to encourage that type of attack. I would be interested in how on Uof swing speed is calculated to determine more mathematically the dps differences but it certainly seems that most 2h don't even come close with the added drawback of not potions.

I have tried timing attacks when relics proc but haven't had much success. Doing that some, especially trying to time a tread walk through. I end up trying too early a lot of times needed 1-2 more seconds and kill my stamina

So make two handers not use Stam you say?

This is definitely a good thing for two-handers, but I still expect to see 95% one-handers out there. If you total refresh after, two-handers will only have to unequip for tread mistakes and when they take damage.

and when they take damage.

which is only all the time. I love using war hammers but the tread relic has forced me to use only one handers. I remember only losing stamina when your health got LOW on all the other servers I played. Seems on this server though, you can be at full health and, oops, a harpy hit you for 10 damage? There goes your full stamina, now you have to drink a refresh so you can activate tread. Basically stam seems to drain much sooner and much quicker on here than I remember on other servers.
