Auto Poison?

Hello,

I am still decently new here and I had a question about poisoning. Is there a way to auto poison someone? Today a red jumped me, he had a broadsword on. He hit me once and my friend was poisoned instantly also. The poison sound made the magery type sound effect. My friend cured me I cured him and we were both instantly poisoned again. THis happened about 4 times before we died. His sword wasnt poisoned, and he wasnt taking it off and casting. The only mob around was an normal orc.

Im confused on what happened? Is there a potion or something you can throw to auto poison people?

Yes the skill poisoning will do this. Not sure the % chance and what not. I am sure someone will chime in. There's also different degrees of poison .

stun and ariakan didn't actually read your post. there is no player mechanic to mass poison other players, and a dexxer melee attacking will not poison unless he is using a poisoned weapon. poison on weapons comes in 'charges': at 0 poisoning you have 20% of using a charge on hit and GM poisoning carries a 40% chance of application.

are you 100% certain his weapon wasn't poisoned? it could have been poisoned and the charges were all used up killing you and your friend, so that by the time you checked the weapon on his paperdoll as a ghost, it dind't appear poisoned

there are poison traps in dungeons. is it possible you were standing on one of those?
