Asking for help from our great community for one of our own

Hi all.

I know my posts here are usually light hearted and fun, but it's time to get serious.

One of our own is in dire straits. Advct/Moes/James has been hit with a bombshell in the last 2 months and he and his family are in need of help to keep them from being homeless.

Advct was hit with a medical emergency and was in the hospital for almost a month, and therefore not able to work. Being the sole provider for his 2 boys and his wife who is 7 months pregnant, they have been hit with an eviction notice and medical bills that are insurmountable in his current condition.

Advct has always helped anyone that's asked, usually at his own expense, and it's time to give back.

I know I joke about housing a lot on here, but not having one in real life is no joke. I would hope that someone would do the same for my wife and family if it were needed. James is a proud father and husband and hasn't reached out to anyone for help, but some things just need to be done.

Please feel free to share this to any gamer group/social media you feel would help, and please even if you can only afford $10, let's help one of our own here.

Mostly because of this community and people such as yourselves, we're at $1900 in just a couple of hours.

The gaming community is looked at by outsiders much differently than we look at ourselves. We fight, battle and go to war with and against each other daily. But that all gets left on the field when one of our own is in real need.

I'll fight all of you any time, but if you or your family needs help, I'll do whatever I can to make sure you get it.

Now fuck off. It's getting dusty in here. I have something in my eye.

I also need to say this...

Shane and Tony have been fucking marvellous with this, and there's possibly even more in the works from them. So let me up the ante here...

On top of my donation to James and his family, anyone from UO Forever that donates to the GoFundMe will have their in game name put into a hat. I will figure out a way to either livestream on here, or barring that, record a video pulling a name from that hat. I will then donate $100 worth of dono coins to that winner.

If any of you have already donated anonymously, or wish in the future, and would still like to be put in the draw, just throw me a PM with your in game name and you'll be added. If you wish to remain anonymous in case your name is pulled, let me know and I will put you in as "anon 1, 2, etc" or something like that and only let @Shane know so that you can get your winnings.
