hey guys, general question but at show real 71 tame, what did you tame to gain decent rates? scorpions aint cutting it any longer! ;[

I did ghs on a tamer before but had no real gains till 85-90, polars were a good gain for me but i guess im used to fast dungeon gain now, im told i can stick to scorps till about 75ish then maybe do hell cats lol

you can start gaining off bulls at 67-68 real skill. i made 67 to GM with bulls, great hearts and grizzlys only. just remember, you wont gain of pretamed bulls at 68. the higher your skill the easier it will get, as you can gain off pretames

Scorp til 78 shown.
Hellcats/Bulls/pretamed animals on ice island/Great harts/grizzly bears till GM.

Getting through the scorps part is the hardest unless you have good luck not seeing pks.

Also around 90ish I started doing lava lizards and hell hounds. They have great gains and relatively pk free areas to find them in..

I got good skill gains between 70-80 by Taming: Black Bears (under 75, unless pre-tamed), Brown Bears, Cougars, Grey Wolfs, Panthers, Grizzly Bears (74+), Great Hearts (74+), White Wolfs.

I got sick of trying to deal with PK's and other griefers while trying to raise taming in dungeons. I personally found it to be more of a waste of time.

There are several good spots where you can run around for a solid hour constantly taming creatures in a fairly small area with little or no interference from other players.

Agreeds pks are annoying get atleast 2 an hour, already statted 4pks lol none managed to kill yet : P

Can you explain this?
When can you gain off of pre tames and not?
Can you gain off any pre tames at 50-70?

To the Op, one thing you need to realize, at you current skill the real vs fake point shown is finally starting to equalize. It may look like hours have passed with no gains when indeed you have been gaining the entire time. At 99.5 skill, that is where they finally become the same.

We really need some kinda guide. These same questions are asked with such frequency, and yes I know we have a taming guide. Maybe the FAQs need to be tweaked a tad?
