How does one differentiate between right and wrong? How about good and evil? Can one base their distinction off of what they believe in their heart? Some would say yes. Not me. For does not the murderer find his actions to be just and the pirate to find his spoils to be fairly won?
So how do we know?
That is the quandary we face daily, and it is the quandary we faced last night. Sure, we battled murderers. We won some, and we lost some. However, the world isn't black and white. It is filled with grey. It is into that grey we go.
The grey is where the seemingly innocent stand by to watch one die so he can retrieve the possessions from your body. It is where they block your passage in hopes you'll die. The grey is where the foulest of criminals reside.
Let our journey begin together.....
Our home has been much criticized over the past week. Why anyone would want to turn a diamond back into coal is beyond my explanation. Yet, such people exist.
We call our home Camelot, and we believe in the goodness it represents. Others call it a tumor, and say it is a plight amongst the land. Certainly, the evil say that because the light that shines forth from within it's walls blinds their eyes and pierces the darkness of their hearts. I would dismiss these comments outright if they were coming from the evil, but those I know to be upright citizens have made similar comments to me. I guess everyone is entitled to have wrong opinions now and again.
One neighbor, a malicious murderer known as "they b hatin," has made it his mission to extort us of our beautiful home. He throws magical brews down upon us from above whilst shooting arrows through a hole in our roof. A hole we can't seem to find. Maybe it is a window we're unaware of. To be honest, we're not really sure what to do; we had many different artisans build our home to promote cultural diversity and it seems the brigands intentionally left weaknesses in our noble structure.
So I send a message to "they be hatin," our guild is above reproach! We do not give in to terrorism.

Perhaps I spoke a little hastily. We normally don't give in to terrorists, but that was a terrifying display of power. Seriously, where is this hole? When we get the money, we'll redesign it. I promise!
Shortly after this occurred, two of our vile neighbors came to call. You've heard about them already. I was alone, but unafraid. So I went to do battle!
It lasted about 5 minutes and it started with a display of unrivaled power in Brittania. Whilst I attempted to fight this plague, one of their magical users barraged me with a magical arrow over and over and over again as the other one expended his magical energies all over me like a newlywed man on his virgin bride.
I was undeterred and fought on, trying to separate the two in order to give me a chance for an individual kill. In the end though, a magical shield of reflection was my undoing. I failed you this time Britannia and I am deeply sorry.
I decided after that stunning defeat to go and train my skills until more of my knights could join me in battle.
That opportunity came against the guild !. If you're unaware of !, they're a sordid group of murderers and cutthroats who prey upon homes in dis-repair and collect the spoils for their coffers in order to wage their interminable unholy war upon the citizens of Sosaria. We were a humble 3 against a guild of many. I wish I could give you accurate numbers, but I cannot.
Our plan was simple, deprive them of the loot to the best of our abilities. We didn't have the numbers to even come close to competing with the group of marauders. However, it was our morale duty to try and fight them, so we went.

I died, but I died a death worthy of the high-born I am. I died healing my good friend Iniquitous from certain death. Not only that, but now I have documentation of those who associate with evil. The list has been started. Enemies of Brittania, beware.
We got 4 chests from this collapsing home. One was full of skill scrolls used to train the skills of anyone who dares read its contents. Surely, ! would have used this power for harm. We have struck a mighty blow indeed!
There was no time to celebrate though, we had another IDOC to get too. It was a good thing Iniquitous looted the contents of my body before we fled with our treasures, it made restocking easy.
We had another surprise waiting for us at this next home. PSB was there, and we knew those dirty cutthroats were biding their time.
The house fell and we looted while dispelling their gates. The bounty was mighty indeed, and another victory for Britannia.
We were not done yet, for little did they know we had a player still watching the house location. They earned the initial place, and rightly so, for their house placement skills are known throughout the land. Drakkor, who suffers greatly still from PTSD, was no match for their speed and skill.
So we waited; we could not, in good conscience, allow the depraved to grow their coffers even more. So when we saw that they lifted the home....

.....we attacked! When we first arrived, there were 3 there. Two cursed murderers and a cutthroat. We had the drop on them however, and the reds were quickly dispatched. Now we had a dilemma, for they returned on what appeared to be innocents. We knew of their evil affiliations, we knew their hearts. Could we, in good conscience, fight these people?
We had too however. We had no choice.

A victory for Britannia!
After this, we organized the spoils of war.....
View attachment 1740
PERFECT! After that was done, we left to protect the citizens of Britannia.
I don't have the time to regale all of our exploits in the lands. Much of the time, it involves us killing opponents 3v1. There is no honor in those types of victories, but they are necessary. I will talk of two more adventures before our journey ends.
The first involves the satanic Paws. With the addition of the mighty Furbalian, we brought the battle to them.

We were many though. At the time we outnumbered them 5 to 4. It is for this reason I believe they did not emerge from their home to wage battle. They're aware of their hatred for their kind, and if they want to avoid stat loss, they needed to be better prepared than we were.
So they bided their time on the inside. We tried a new tactic, one taught to us by God himself in his story of the fall of Jericho. We knew if we had faith, those walls would come down. In accordance with His directive, we marched around that house beating our drums and singing our praises.

Our faith wasn't strong enough. We failed.
Iniquitous, wrought with despair at our apparent lack of faith, left the party. I hope he did not fall on his own sword from shame.
Shortly after he left, the battle began. It was glorious.
They even brought their magical creatures!

Another victory for Britannia. Another step closer to peace.
Alas, I promised you two adventures, but the rules of this forum do not allow me to show you more images and you missed a great deal of the aforementioned battle already.
Much happened in that battle, including the addition of a fifth virtuous warrior karavik-. He is a brave warrior who represented his clansmen well. Earl died, but we were able to retrieve his loot. He was distracted with conversation, and they capitalized on his weakness and he paid a dear price.
Our journey will continue with the Battle of Baracoon and our victory over the cutthroats of the noxious TOKE and POWER.
In the meantime, let the debased beware.
So how do we know?
