i had this with my swampy a while ago. i ran out of stam dismounted fed it about 10 bits of meat ran 10 steps and stamed out again

ahh i see now i'm not carrying enough meat...i usually give my mounts 5 ribs and keep moving. can we increase how much stam the mount gives back per x amount of meat?

looking @ the video i think it gives 4 stam back for each chicken. 25 chickens is a lot of stones to be carrying get my mount back to full stam ^_^



ps raise swampy stam plox, mine is in the 80s


edit; can raise dex on the swampy by killing things in the forest with it

yea my guess would be i didn't feed it enuff then i only fed it about 5-10 pieces

i assumed 5 or so pieces would do it never realized i had to carry around a butcher shop with me

Which food gives the most stam for its weight? Used to always carry fishsteaks but wasn't sure if that was popular because they were cheap to get in bulk or were light weight.

I checked it with my tamer with animal lore on the weekend - feeding my swamp dragon raw meat didn't restore any stamina what so ever.

EDIT - @Blair (newbie scum, eqms member #46), no troll - just quickly logged in to test it. Stamina got to 81/89, fed it, nothing. This is an armoured swamp dragon.

You should watch my video, I just tested a swamp dragon and it regenerated the stamina.

I used cooked chickens.

Well this is only a factor for people who are in factions, non factioners do not have mount fatigue. Factions is being removed soon anyways, so wouldn't it just be easier to use cooked meat in the mean time? Or are you just trying to be difficult for the sake of being difficult?

I mean cmon man he's just pointing out how the way you have to feed your pet a million (specifically cooked) chickens to restore its stamina is just not user friendly. You knew about this? And didn't bother fixing it? Was it because you wanted to have the advantage on the field? You really think these guys are trolling?

I dunno, I guess I just assumed you knew how easy/difficult or at least what methods were available for recovering stam for fatigued mounts when you added the system to the game.

I am mostly perplexed that the feeding code is that complex. If the pet accepts the item as food it have an effect on stamina regeneration. If there was a distinction between raw and cooked meat I would think the more intuitive choice would be raw when it comes to feeding animals.
