A separate selling thread for Egor

should Egor get his own selling sub forum?

I only have a couple of products - where high prices ----- the rest I have the cheapest price

For example the Cheap - statue, dragon eggs, ethernal llama, SS, PS, Recall 25gp,Armor, Flowers and more rare Item

I have high prices - only a couple of things -- epic iteme!! but it is Epic item -- and Karl do not cry constantly - Flaming Head price for you only 15k dono ))) for others 2m

If I had expensive prices, no one would not have bought --- But I have the best Vendors on the server
All SS - PS I have vendor Vesper - ...... If you need I have for you PS provo 105 - 110 - 115

We can't make one person do something different than anyone else. So whatever changes are made, would affect everyone. Here are some my suggestions. Not everyone will like them but the selling thread is way out of control, even taking away the amount of trolling being done. There's about 4 pages that were active or commented on so far today alone. Many of them bumps.

1. We allow one active post per player per month, with one bump per day.
Examples. You have one thread to list everything you're selling that you can bump once a day. ONCE. Not twice on weekends. (if others comment, that's a free bump and lucky you). IF you list something and it sells, you change title to SOLD and it will be deleted to get it out of the list. Then you may post another thread.

2. We create a subforum for vendors. You can have one post, bumped once a day to advertise your vendor and its location and a few of the items being sold. I would prefer if these would be no comment posts but I'm not sure that's something that can be set up (I can't make new forums) so not sure if that would work or not but it would be nice.

These changes would mean a lot of moderation daily. And after the first week or so, offenders would be met with consequences ranging from a warning for first offense, a three-day forum ban for repeated offenses to a possible perma ban for those who are given 2 or more 3 day bans.

These are my suggestions only and have not been approved by admins. Just give some feedback.

If there were any rules imposed people would quite frankly sidestep the fucking shit out of them. Alt accts...buddy bumps (have you seen a LOLZ/EQMS selling thread? holy shit)...

I think the way things are is fine. The people have clearly spoken and they do not want to deal with certain members of the community. Sure, the ceaseless bumping of ten separate selling threads when two or three would do (like things with like things) is a bit of an eyesore...but that's a sure way to shoot yourself in the foot.

Forumnerd. Driven. Solutions.

Vendor subforum is a good idea regardless tho.

Skye I would encourage you to NOT go the route requiring increased moderation. Anything you change will just result in more complaints and more work for you.

The selling forums are working fine.

@egor abides by the rules. Change them a little (1 bump per day) and ask people to consolidate their selling threads. I bet that takes care of 90% of the issues with 10% of the effort.

The one axiom of UO players is that we like to *****. Do not confuse people bitching with things needing to change, we will just ***** about something else.

tldr: fuck the haters, just do you boo

Bro I have 1 bamp for day!! weekend for 2 per day because - play more people and a lot of people 2-3 bamps day

Don't take this post too serious skye, while im sure you are not only annoyed by some peoples sell post antics, and getting lots of complaints about egor, this whole thread was really an attempt to let egor see the communities disapproval of his use of the selling forum. in the old days all his selling threads would be trolled until he started to act like everyone else on the sell section. because of the changes though that was not a viable option, so i decided to create a thread where he could see how his annoying form antics have made him a pariah on the forums.

truth be told i hear egor is a great guy, and very nice and helpful to his friends. its simply his forum antics that have attracted so much ire at the moment. because of that i hope he takes away from this that he should limit his sale threads to 3 or 4 at most, not bump more than once a day, and not use silly reasoning to keep bumping. (his way around the one bump rule, if someone responds to his thread he responds to them 4 times an hour apart)

sorry that my silly antics got you pulled in skye. :D

Egor has agreed to combine some of his threads and bump once a day.
His prices, however, are his right to charge what he wants. If they're too high, he won't sell them.
I'm hoping other regular sellers can agree to do the same so stronger rules are not needed.
I will add the one bump per day to the rules.
