while fighting the archdeamon there was a guy riding a beetle.. in the next "round" the beetle and a few other guys died.. in one of the corpses was a beetle statuette. i'm not 100% sure it was in the beetles corpse as it was quite a mess but i'm almost sure that the beetle dropped the statuette

Sounds like it only checks for statue chance on death? Else I could just re-tame and re-release on end to farm statues?

i'd say no.. because tames only contain loot the first time they die.. guess it's the same with the statues

If i tame a pet, then i release, still i have the chance of drop a statuette or not?

I'm pretty sure that u can drop statues from tamed pets. Seen a video a while ago about a guy killing his ostard and getting the statue

my 550 gp noob horse i got from npc died and had a statue

It has a chance but only the first time it dies. Pretty sure there right, otherwise u could just farm res killing a mare
