Just about everyone and their mother is a pirate now due to the OP cannons placed on all boats. This means that while collecting MiBs, you'll probably be pirated unless you're paying attention while doing it, which is not something I can do. The prices should be going up on MiBs, IMO. I'd rather keep them myself, but I don't have the time to do them at the moment.

Curious, you explain how MIBS are harder to collect now but state you feel the price should be going up, any reason to why you think price should increase?

I have already stated one reason, but the other reason is because the Tracking skill plus "Scan the Horizons" makes it much more likely that you will be detected and pirated while getting MiBs.

My question was pointed towards "MIBs should be going up in value". Not why is it easier to be pirated

Why it is easier to be pirated is one of the reasons. Since it is easier to be pirated, it is easier to lose MiBs and whatever other gear you were carrying while getting the MiBs. So, people that make gold by selling MiBs will no longer be selling as many MiBs because they will lose MiBs while pirated and suffer downtime during the process of getting them. Perhaps even getting pirated once will cause them to cease getting more MiBs for the day.
