And my 6m buyout, as I already stated, was from your INITIAL post, when you had written for people to PM you buyout offers. After that initial offer, I had to spend an hour explaining to you what should be common sense.

I bought the scroll... I bought with an undisclosed bid and asked jdclave not to post my name and or bid. I didn’t want to flaunt the fact that I was able to do a buyout. I tried to bid on the last one that went up for auction but was outbid at the last second... I just didn’t want that to happen again. You guys shouldn't be too hard here as it was you who convinced jdcalve it was ok to take a high buyout!
The amount didn't matter to me.. hence why I didn't take the original 6m offer from Nihilism.
I intended to leave the auction up til sunday, but you guys all refused to bid until last second in order to "not be outbid". Why run an auction if that's how shit's going to be?

The intent of leaving the auction open was to encourage/allow bidding.
The interested parties refused to bid in the thread citing not being outbid or "driving the price up" as the reasoning.
Last I checked that was the purpose of an auction.
What's amusing is that most of those in this thread have purchased from me in the past and know that I typically sell for the first PM I get with a halfway reasonable offer.
I've sold many scrolls at half of market price just to get rid of them and I've given away dozens more.

It's a person's choice if they wanna drive up bids, bump posts by doing so, or any other shit.
Are you telling me that you'd bid for something on ebay, be outbid, then outbid them back and forth an innumerate amount of times when you knew that regardless of bids, the auction would end at a set date/time?

You just confirmed my point, they pressured you to sell by saying that they won't bid and you did. That is why I said learn to stick to what you said instead of being manipulated and walked over.
Either way I wouldn't afford this, just thought it was a humorous way of handling this on your part.

6m means nothing to me.. but I'm not going to bother running an auction for people to PM bids only.
The only reason I didnt take Nihilism's original 6m offer twenty minutes after posting the thread was because several people complained about my auctions ending due to buyouts. The same people that wouldn't bid in the thread.
