I waited almost an hour before deciding the pet needed to be looked after until it's owner returned. If he is new that is a shame, but the pet was gone the moment they logged off without stabeling it.

Can we get back to the auction on this great priced meta steed now?

Was this from a few weeks back or last night? I lost one of the same color last night around Vesper. Spammed IRC and ran around on my tracker after I came back and noticed he was gone.

I'd be interested in trying to work something out.

Yes...if someone forgets to log out without stabling it or doesn't feed it, when it has been long enough it will go wild and revert back into an egg that can be picked up. Or you can throw a green net onto a pet from a boat and pull it onto your boat.
