I don't know where I got that information but I double checked my spreadsheet to calculate pet dmg (from back in the day) and you're right.
It's been a long time since I played UO and I don't have the equations memorized anymore. It looks like I found a bad wiki page somewhere.
Edit:
It...
You can go crazy looking for a perfect specimen but realistically it doesn't always make a difference. STR and INT impact your pet's power every 10 full points. There isn't a difference in power between a dragon with 820 STR and 825 STR. STR does not impact HP on a dragon.
The INT is 1...
The FAQ on the UOF site is broken. I'm not sure where the appropriate place is to report this (I'm new). I actually use the FAQ a fair bit to remember what's different here from Public UO.
On production UO the animal lore gump is a lot more involved because of the differences in how resists work, etc. I realize most of that applies to UOF.
It also has the base damage for a given creature type which is very relevant in deciding what stats matter most on a pet and what pets...
I like it how it is too. I haven't played other free shards but I was generally unhappy with the boring direction subscription UO went.
I'm ok with a little change but I happily sacrifice most of the features EA added AoS and beyond because it eliminates most of the bad things they did.
I'm not sure which way to vote on this.
I loved and thoroughly abused soulstones in public UO. I'm not sure they're necessary here.
It was nice being able to build dynamic characters using soulstones. It may not be necessary here because it isn't that hard to develop skils here.
The FAQ says there is no power scroll for Animal Lore. As I typed the topic for this thread it popped up various threads offering Animal Lore power scrolls for sale.
So I presume Animal Lore PS exist.
Do they do the same things they did in public UO (stable space, easier taming)?
Is there...
I agree. Inscription should be able to make slayer books like other crafting skills can make slayers.
Live UO has slayer books and it's the difference between being able to have mage as a viable PVE character and not.
