And, the more direct answer to your question.... EVERYTHING, you are wearing or carrying in your back pack, can be looted upon your death. The same applies to any pack animal you have also. Your pack horse, or beetle dies, it can be looted. This is not a "server" distinction, but a game...

Hey now... Just other day, I actually fought one of those 247 guys one on one. He hung in there pretty good too. I actually felt bad, looting him... He keeps training, like he said he was, he'll be a force to reckon with one day. Then my miner wont be kicking sand in face, anymore.

Looting a body you're not suppose to, is probably flagging you.
