I don't think it's AI related I think they have to have enough stamina to pass through to get to the target...I run 3 pets frequently and when I lore them when they are "wandering" they have less than max stamina...once they hit max they walk in 1 tile then attack.

Get an experienced tamer to snag you a few it takes 5 mins for GM it will be a little frustrating for you at 75.

Also if you recalled anywhere or gated check those spots as well.

Run around the area borders and all spamming all follow...I had one today that visually "poofed" at Akor but he was there when I went back...he was a ghost of course.

Still not a fan of how it was handled....kind of playing griefer GM to the players. If it had been made known that this was unacceptable then I would laugh and give props but that doesn't seem to have been the case here.
