To anyone selling for checks, just be careful that you NEVER accept 10 or less checks (technically 9 or less, but just to be safe...) in a bag. I'm pretty sure on UO:F you need to be within 1 tile of the house sign to do the transfer, so it's physically impossible to scam with an adjacent house. Unless someone figured out some ridiculous exploit to bypass this?

No, if you get scammed out of a house you're SOL. I never, ever understood why people get scammed out of houses. If you are buying a house, as long as the trade window shows the bright blue deed you're OK. If you're selling, just check the amount of the check(s). Never accept less than 10...

This annoys me so much.. especially in Yew where the shops are not user-friendly.. having double-thick walls of vendors with no gaps to walk around makes it hard to use "vendor look". So what do I do? I go to the house sign menu! And every vendor says, "Shop Not Yet Named". So frustrating :(...

Yeah these are a new stealable. One of the newer ones that JoeB put in that replaced the "bowl of corn" after he realized you can buy the bowl of corn from an NPC lol. It's probably worth 30-75k, I've sold one for 25k in a quickfire sale to get it off my hands but sold my first one for 75k.

Even if in the meantime mounts are allowed on Booty, it would boost the activity there 100-fold. They should be allowed permanently IMO but this could be a quick fix to bring life to Booty.. it's the main reason most of us don't go there.
