I attacked mine with my provo mage (no wrestling) and it died instantly... Misunderstood and thought I'd be getting a sort of bunny statue. Would be nice to know if it can be used in some way.

Pets actually don't do that well against it. Like TheFallen said, hit and run is the best way to go. Look out for those little black holes that pop up, the explosions come next :p

I've always been under the impression that they were like other food items you get off mobs.

I for one would rather have reds recalling/gating to where I'm farming, and kill me once in a while, rather than have to walk back to Shame lvl 5 (for instance) each time I bank. And with dragons in tow? You'd have to summon them each time or it would take forever. Also would be fun getting...

You could always use a hotkey linked to a macro that double clicks the instruments by type.. Whether followed by provo or on it's own... I just do it manually when it does happen (not very often as eppy said)
