Important clarification: XP and level on the talisman itself never decreases. Only the level of your relics, which is tied to the 700 kill requirement.
It's a sad state of affairs if that's true... I am just thinking of going down the road of meta mage. Is it not worth it? If not, shouldn't that be fixed?
It drops a level every day, by going from 700 (level 10) down to 675 (level 9). It does this even if you've been killing hundreds of monsters that day prior to the drop. That's a bit annoying - I do wish I could accumulate up to 725 so when it drops I can still stay at level 10 for a day.
I have a rogue talisman character (level 8 now) and although I'd benefit from this change, I'm against it because it would make the tradeoff too small for the rogue advantage of not having to level your relics at all. When you pick the rogue talisman, you're committing to the playstyle of "25...

Thank you for the quick response - I agree knowing the real/current formula would give me something to chew on! Also - the same math cap is present for STR > 100 and Anatomy > 100 (currently impossible to achieve anyway), so if we're taking the time to verify, it would be nice to know if 110 STR...
If a character has > 100 tactics via equipping a (non-archery) weapon with an accuracy modifier, does that change the damage of the weapon? I ask because my reference is the wiki https://www.uoforum.com/wiki/index.php/Melee_Damage which itself references 2014 patch notes...
It allows you to cast and target spells, use a bandage, etc, so (a) you don't accidentally throw the potion at yourself, and (b) you don't lose the target cursor by mistake and it blows up in your backpack.
