You can place small to mid sized houses, yes. Also, you can find max storage houses for very reasonable prices, I've seen some for 400k.

Pretty sure I saw a few when I was looking for houses to post. There were a few items that came back, such as the Hot tub etc. that were previously removed.

My first guess, would be that perhaps they were refreshed on the test center, instead of live, by accident? I don't recall any revert in the last week.

I'd level up a new character and make an Alchy mage. Sure, you could drop poisoning for alchemy. It's just a ***** to level, and there's an Xpac coming soon. Maybe poisoning will get a (much needed) buff.

I explained to you, how it's your choice. That option prevents corpses killed by other players from even opening. You cannot get accidently killed.

There's nothing making you go grey and die when people kill mobs, other than your own choices. There's mobs everywhere, tons of people farming. Disable Innocent Corpses prevents it from EVER happening. It's your own choice.
