^^This. For a template that won't have stun, it doesn't matter too much which you go with (anatomy or wrestling) so people just go by their own discretion. Personally, I go with anatomy in those instances because its faster to train.
Pretty much what @Bromista said. Its more expensive but faster to train in the dungeon as it carries more risk. Training in the crafters area is sufficiently cheaper but it will take longer to GM as there is less risk there.
If you have the time to babysit, then by all means do the dungeon...
Posting your template that you are trying to make might be helpful for some suggestions. I mean honestly if you are going to rely upon healing for cures, you will need GM healing and 80 anatomy. That will also give a chance to resurrect. Less anatomy equals less damage healed though.
But...
Well it is RNG - everyone's most favorite and hated thing in UO. Hit rate is a straight calc, roll die, 50% to hit or 50% to not hit (assuming both parties are at 100.0 skill otherwise the %s change).
Some things to think about.
The hit rate for any weapon vs another player is 50% however with archery, you can actually increase the hit rate percentage by having higher tactics (ie weapons with accuracy modifiers).
When fighting mobs, if the mob has a higher weapon skill than 100.0, then...
I believe it is originally from the 2013 Christmas bags. I got a couple hidden away somewhere, but it had a present in it that when you "opened" it gave you a list of items to choose from (wreath, yule log, snowman, etc).
Edit: It also has been rewards or apparently dono vendor items too...
