I have only pulled 1 barbed sbod ever and I think it was a 10x. The Dev staff are tight lipped on drop rates (or rates on anything for that matter), but my personal opinion is that barbed bod drops are too small a chance. We are about to be in year 3 of UOF and the number of barbed bods isn't even great enough to put together one barbed LBoD.
To be honest though, because of the reward structure, there really isn't too much incentive to work. I think most folks just do the smalls and get tier 5 cloth (for 10s & 15s).

6 tailors, almost 1 year on uof on average pulling 12+ tailor bods a day. do the math. barbed leather bods are rare as hell, less than 1% drop easily.
