Just for curiosity's sake. Say players were permitted to wear a talisman so long as they didn't have a meta-pet with them. Would a meta-mage (or dexxer) with non-meta animals have more firepower than a tamer with a meta-pet?
Would a meta-mage/GM tamer be > tamer with a metapet?

dont think you can have taming and meta mage same time. i think that was in the forum post shane put out.

correct, if you have over 50music skill or 50 taming you can't equip the talisman

Since reading is hard for others, I'll answer your hypothetical question. I think they would indeed be stronger, and far more versatile. Their damage with a meat shield would be op.
