Why is nobody selling galleons?

I've seen a lot of people selling galleon recipes but not actual galleons.. are they able to be traded?

Just getting into naval combat myself and am debating buying the recipe + crafting a galleon vs. buying one already made.

Expensive to make, and not a huge demand for them. As of right now the large ordinary boats are better to battle with than the galleons.

True, ok, I noticed that.. did the math and it didn't really add up to make it worth getting a galleon. Hopefully after Booty Island they can address this
