When to use taming skill scrolls

My shown taming is 84.1 and I've gotten 4 taming SS in the last few days. I will likely have to still work skill the old fashion way because i'm unfortunately poor... at the current level it seems dead slow on skill gains.. should I use a scroll or two (or all 4 I have) now, or should I wait till it gets higher before using them? I read someone mentioned that low through mid 80s is pretty slow.. Any first hand knowledge would be great, thanks :)

All 80 wa realy fast. I would save them to the last points. Go tame hellcats

Pff yeah im at 80 got 0 gains for 20 hell cats anyway make sure you have a whole number before using the scrolls because if you are at like 99.3 youll have to manually gain those last .7

I started using them at 78. I found it more fun to actually use my young dragons to farm the gold to buy more/find more while playing. Farming is far more fun than taming to me.

So I don't know if i'm going to the right place.. but I can typically only find 1-2 of the small hellcats, and like kraden said... no gains hardly at all.. I've resorted to doing random great harts, with little to no gain also... I almost feel if I used a couple and got to where I can do hell hounds etc it would give me more taming options.

I didn't do hell hounds till early 90s. Around 80 I cycled between the 2 or 3 Hellcats that I knew of, bulls, and ice island. I just tamed everything I saw, then mid 80s I think I started lava lizards. Those gave me great gains.

nah, just go to vendor and made him teach 0.3 skill point after that use a +1SS..
must have a skill cap of 700 and must make the arrow down..:)
