Forced game size 1400x1000 on 4K UHD. I like it with the modded client without black corners. Since having 4K I can play all three clients in one screen.

I almost leave the game the first week I played because of it, was so freaking anoying.... now....

It is anoying, but with this modded client you don't have black corners, but some graphical issues some places.
But it's not steam, it's the client. There is a drop box link in this thread to this modded client without black corners:
