What do people spend their gold on...?

I often see established players and general players that earn gold regularly... yet, they seem to have average noobish clothes... average houses with no deco.. etc.. I see these people farming and earning gold everyday.. yet, for the life of me, I can't see where it goes... what the hell is everyone spending their wizard gold on? now, this is not directed to pvpers at all, yet, I often see hardcore pvpers with better stuff then hardcore pvmers.. so, my question is... what the hell is everyone spending their wizard golds on?

So the sign of having loads of wizard gold is fancy clothes and a house full of rare junk? Kids these days make me laugh. Invest your wizard gold in stock market or save up for retirement. I recommend starting a retirement plan, such as a 401UO plan (if your guild offers one). If not, I have heard that Kristo's Kommissary is planning to have an IPO in January; buy some shares in one of UO's finest startup businesses....

That worked very well for all those chumps that bought gold in 2012.... I remember the "we see gold reaching $3000 an once in the near future" commercials. It was $1800 an once then. It is at about $1100 an once now.

Don't be fooled by the snake oil salesman, my friends. Buy Kristo's stocks if you want a secure future!

vanq runics. I now have a large battle axe, short spear, and war hammer. much fun in ctf.

before that I spent a bit of cash on a full barbed leather runic suit, a layered/armored/blessed cap, and an armored faction shroud. provides 69 AR fully meddable. not bad.

relics. shit's expensive as fuck. especially when you're trying to do more than one type of meta talisman.

and then there's the boring but necessary stuff. regs/kegs/bandies/bottles/weapons

id like to buy a +3 ar robe patch and maybe a swamp drag with valorite barding eventually for the field. that's at least another 700k right there.

I prefer not to spend my gold on useless trammy shit. I go for efficiency. if it doesn't give me better stats or help me in some way, idgaf about it and thus you'll never see me in flashy clothing (unless it's something I win from an event or something similar, then I might just keep it)

Quicksilver relic and 120 taming are the only things selling for over 2 mill right now. Kinda sad that they're 20 mill for 2 items but hey nut up or shut up right? I'm saving for mine.
