Let's talk wands, ok?

It's no secret that ID wands don't drop anymore I mean let's be real. You may have seen me having some lols in Discord saying that I had gotten an item ID wand to drop followed by a LOLJK GUYS. I might have done it 6 or 7 or 125 times. Some people engaged me in discussion when I was having said lols. Yeah yeah I know Item ID as a skill, buy ID wands ppl sell em on vendors, player driven solutions or whatever...kiss my butt I'm not even here to talk about that.

Look here, I bought the 5k dono Item ID wand like I knew I was going to. Maybe you reluctantly did also. So we have an 875k Item ID wand, now what? Where is the math you were promised?

Oh I'll feed you some math, baby birds.

Since the big change I have collected all of the various wandses and burned 1000 item ID charges in the process (between old ID wands and new dono wand)

In the time it took to ID 1000 items that were suspected of having worthwhile magical properties (not from trash spawn) I had gathered approximately 150 wands.

Of those 150 wands, a little over half were sold: Gheal wands @ 2k per charge, lightning @ 1k, heal @ 500, weaken @ 350, mana drain @ 350

I even kept some of those wands and it still netted me 200k gold.

So let's forget about even ID'ing items and their value in general and just look at what was lost and gained merely by removal of item ID wands and introduction of the other spells....the dono wand will pay for itself in the time it takes to ID about 5k items. You still have the convenience of a blessed item ID wand with 45k charges and tons more value in the corpses of what you are killing than ever before knock yourself out tiger.
