Running vendor fairs once a quarter for one week long would be great to promote trade for those of us who don't care/have time to set up a regular vendor at a mall. One easy location to spend a bunch of money instead of shopping dozens of vendor malls.
To keep down lag, don't run this in town but in an isolated, bank-able location and have it promoted by an NPC just like all others who gate/advertise at wbb. I think this would be quite easy to setup and would spice things up in terms of the buy/sell market. Also good for those who have vendors at their own house but get minimal traffic.
Bonus points if gm's are able to teleport existing vendors from their current locations to the fair and back.
