I'm a returning player, and trying to get UO AutoMap to run. It loads, runs.. I get my location and my co-ordinates, but the field display is black. Am I missing something? Help!!!

I had to download some map files from a link that was posted on this forum. After that you'll have to drop the images in your uoa folder. I will try to find it after work or you can Google your issue and probably find a fix.

Hello. I am still unable to get UOAM to work, same with UO Cartographer. I downloaded the map files and pointed them to the UOAM root folder, still nothing. Anyone else having this issue? Thank you.

Try switching world map to Trammel under Map/World/Trammel. I know it's not technically trammel, but there are normal trees like trammel. I think there's some setting in the UOF files that tricks UOAM. Just switching to use the Trammel world map makes maps viewable for me.

Thank you for replying to this as well. I'll give it a shot when I get home. Frustrating knowing this works...just not for me!
