I know that there HAS to be a chart out there somewhere summarizing what the benefits of the various metal types are. I just cannot seem to locate it.

Metal types/colors for player made weapons only affects the durability of the weapon. It does not increase damage or accuracy. The only exception to this is weapons made with a Runic Hammer, which adds durability, damage, and accuracy modifiers based upon the color of the Runic Hammer.

Runic hammers do not affect armor rating. The type of ingots yes. Runic hammer charges no.
