Troubles throwing EXPLO potions

Hey guys,

been trying out an alchy dexxer, and was wondering how you are able to time your explosion potions.

When I'm engaged in combat, if i double click the explosion potion, it auto throws to my target (not giving me the option to wait and toss at 1-2 seconds).


also~ i am using razor. if anyone has some sweet sweet potion macros, i'd love to see em'

In razor you make a hotkey for use purple potion, just like your heal potions, cure , etc...
You don't need some intricate macro that does it all for you.
Hit purple pot hotkey wait till right before 1 comes up on pot timer (depending on your conncection) then hit last target.
You can practice throwing pots at monsters to get your timing down.

yeah, that's what I was thinking. however, for some reason. I can't seem to hold onto the potion.

even without using macro's. If i use my explosion potions, it just drops at my feet (if i'm not targeting anything). doesn't give me an option to 'target' anything

ye my throw spot is about 1.5 at 100-120 ping but the lag spikes we have at the moment does mess with them.

I still havent figured out why my explosion potions auto-toss when i'm in combat

Not sure about the auto-toss. You can also make an in-game macro to say:

[drink GreaterExplosionPotion

(I believe, or it may be "...Explode...")

Then you can just use a 'LastTarget' macro to throw it at your LastTarget. When the countdown starts I've noticed the best time to throw it is 1/3 to 1/2 of a second after you see "2".. so it'll be:

4 ... 3 ... 2 ... now throw it after 1/3 second. Not sure if that's exact but it seems to be accurate nearly 100% of the time.

Found the issue,

I needed to clear my Target Queue before drinking my potion.

Exec: Target CLosest Non-Friendly
Exec: Attack Last Target
Exec: Clear Target Queue
